SOMETIMES IN LIFE…..

SOMETIMES IN LIFE……

SOMETIMES IN LIFE THE ONLY WAY TOIT IS THROUGH IT!

SOMETIMES IN LIFE THE ONLY WAY TO IT IS THROUGH IT!

Sometimes in life,

no amount of crying,

no amount of complaining,

no amount of prayer,

no amount of fasting,

no amount of declarations,

no amount of praise,

no amount of worship,

no amount of anything,

will change what God requires for us to possess our “promised land”.

 Sometimes in life,

there is a rough path we must take,

there is a rigorous process we must go through,

there is a hard circumstance we must endure,

there is a bitter cup we must drink,

in order to receive, achieve or become what God desires.

Sometimes in life,

no cross…..no crown,

no test…..no testimony,

no tragedy…..no triumph,

no conflict…..no conquest,

no battle…..no victory,

no wilderness…..no promised land,

no closure…..no opening,

no death…..no life.

Sometimes in life the only way to is through.

Selah!

Kim

“And going a little farther, He threw Himself upon the ground on His face and prayed saying, My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will [not what I desire], but as You will and desire.

Again a second time He went away and prayed, My Father, if this cannot pass by unless I drink it, Your will be done.

So, leaving them again, He went away and prayed for the third time, using the same words.”

Then He returned to the disciples and said to them, Are you still sleeping and taking your rest? Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of especially wicked sinners [whose way or nature it is to act in opposition to God].

Get up, let us be going! See, My betrayer is at hand!”

(Matthew 26:39, 42, 44-46 – Amplified Bible)

  1. AWESOME!

  2. Reblogged this on A Prophetic Walk and commented:
    Simply the truth!

  3. Thanks and thanks for the re-blog; I’m honored….:)

  4. Yes….it’s a truth a lot of the Saints do not want to embrace, but it is what it is and it’s only mastered by surrender, a teachable spirit and God’s grace.

  5. You’re welcome.

  6. Amen.

  7. I know those times are good for you, but I still honestly hate them, when something terribly stressful is looming in the near future and you know you have to go through it. But of course, God always takes us through and after going through successfully several times, it luckily gets easier. Character building and maturity are a hard slog though sometimes. :)

  8. Hey David….well said…..my flesh prefers not to go through the tough stuff, but my spirit welcomes it because I know the spiritual and character building and maturity that will result…..it really is a bitter sweet part of walking with the Lord…..the good part though is that like you said, after going through successfully several times, it does get easier….:)

  9. Also, when you test God and He really is there for you in the hard times, it increases your faith so much more than anything in the easy times.
I always love reading your posts, Kim. Have a blessed week. :)

  10. So true David, so true….I am happy that my posts are a positive source in your life…..have a blessed week too!!!
