May the Lord grant you good health, a sound mind, laughter (it truly is like a medicine), a resilient spirit, and increased spiritual discernment, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding as you pursue the hopes, dreams and plans that are in your heart for this year.
As we journey into 2011, none of us really knows what the future holds, but we can rest in the fact that we do know the all-wise, all-powerful, all-knowing, sovereign One who holds the future, and who knows the end from the beginning so absolutely nothing comes as a surprise or shock to Him. And, more importantly, we can rest in the fact that He unfathomably loves us and cares about us so much that He even knows the number of hairs on our heads.
Whatever you may encounter this year, whether good or bad, desirable or undesirable, make a decision now to always give God the thanks and praise that is due to Him just because He is God, and remember, there is no situation, no-thing or no-one that is better, greater or more valuable than He is so be encouraged to keep Him first in your life no matter what.

Philippians 3:13-14
“No, dear brothers and sisters, I am still not all I should be, but I am focusing all my energies on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us up to heaven.” – (NLT)
Proverbs 3:5,6
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and he shall direct your paths” (NKJV)
I Thessalonians 5:18
“Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” (NLT)
Romans 8:28
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” – (NIV)

Blessings and peace!
