You are a unique and special human being.

No one has your exact fingerprints.

No one has your exact voice.

No one has your exact laugh.

No one has your exact smile.

No one has your exact mind.

No one has your exact personality.

There is no body exactly like your body.

Out of the 7 billion humans on the planet, there is absolutely no one exactly like you.

You are a designer’s original created by God Himself.

Only you can do what you do the way you do it because there is only one you.

So, celebrate your uniqueness.

Don’t seek to become like another.

Be the unique person that God designed you to be.

Seek to be conformed to the image of Christ.

Seek to allow the development of the fruit of God’s Spirit in you – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

Seek to live according to the principles of the Kingdom of God.

Seek to obey the Lord even if it requires that you step out of your “personality comfort zone”.

Be yourself in Christ.

Allow Him to mold you when and how He sees fit according to the Word and by His Spirit.

God is a God of variety.

Nature itself attests to this.

Just look at the variety of trees, flowers, birds, fish, vegetables, fruit, animals and even rocks.

According to an article posted September 19, 2010 in The Guardian, a UK on-line newspaper,  scientists believe there are likely over 400,000 flowering plants, 15,000 species of ferns and their allies, 1,000 gymnosperms such as conifers, 23,000 mosses and allies, more than 1,000,000 species of insects, 28,000 living species of fish, 10,000 of birds, and 5,400 mammals.

Now, think about it.

If God took so much time to create such incredible variety in the plant and animal kingdom, do you think He desires us humans who are created in His image and His likeness to be like clones, copying one another and trying to look like and become like each other as opposed to embracing our individual uniqueness in Him?

I don’t think so.

God desires to work in and through the you He created you to be, and this you is designed to enable you to fulfill the works that He prepared in advance for you to do from before the foundation of the world was laid.

He did not try to look anyone else.

He did not try to act like anyone else.

He did not try to do what people expected Him to do just because they expected Him to do it.

He did not try to “fit in” the religious establishment.

He did not try to become anyone or anything other than who He was.

Man of God, Woman of God, no matter your position in the Body of Christ, be encouraged to be yourself in Christ.

Be the unique person that God created you to be and not some carbon-copy of what others expect you to be and/or something that God is not instructing you to be.

I challenge you not to be an imitation, copy, or manifested expectation of anyone else, but to instead, be the original unique you God created you to be in Christ.

Peace & Blessings!
