A PRAYER FOR THE PROTECTION OF OUR SCHOOL CHILDREN
PRAY TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN
Dear Heavenly Father,
As our children leave home for school today, cause them to arrive safely.
Assign your warring angels to guard and keep them wherever they are, whoever they are with, and whatever they are doing throughout the day.
Remove any fear from their hearts and replace it with a sense of peace, comfort and Your loving presence.
Help them to maximize and enjoy their educational experience; let not the enemy mar it in any way.
Father by Your grace we refuse to be bound by the spirit of fear, but instead trust You to keep our children safe in Your divine care.
By faith we cover them in the protective blood of Jesus from the crown of their heads to the soles of their feet and stand on Your word that no weapon formed against them shall prosper.
Father we humbly release our children to You.
Watch over them like only You can.
Thank you for bringing them safely home.

Amen. I think this time after a tragedy like this will be much harder on parents than children. At some point, we have to let go and trust that God has them in his hands.
Yes David, I agree. I’ve been consciously practicing placing my kids in God’s hands and trusting Him for their protection for years. Truthfully, as a parent, when I consider the dangerous world that we live in today, I know of no other way to have any sense of abiding peace concerning their safety and well-being.
