When I woke up this morning, the first thing I heard in my spirit is “Nothing is impossible with God”.

Then I heard it again, “Nothing is impossible with God”.

My mind then went on some of the things that I want to see manifested in my life and the lives of others, and I heard it again, “Nothing is impossible with God”.

Next, an old chorus written by Eugene L. Clarke in 1966 that we used to sing many, many years ago at my former place of worship came to mind.

The words are as follows:-

“Nothing is impossible when you put your trust in God;

Nothing is impossible when you’re trusting in His Word.

Hearken to the voice of God to thee;
”Is there anything too hard to Me?”

Then put your trust in God alone and rest upon His Word;

For ev’rything, O, ev’rything, yes ev’rything is possible with God.”

“Nothing is impossible with God”.

So what does impossible mean?

According to Dictionary.Com, impossible has the following meanings:-

1.  “Not able to occur, exist, or be done”

2. “Very difficult to deal with”

“Nothing is impossible with God”

Nothing is “not able to occur, exist or be done” with God.

Nothing is “very difficult to deal with” with God.

Are you facing an impossible situation today?

Your marriage is “on the rocks”, you hurt deeply and are at a total lost as to how to make it better .

Your child is in a season of waywardness and rebellion and no matter how much you try to help them “see the light”, no change for the better  is evident.

Your finances are so messed up you don’t even know how to start to tunnel out of the dark cave of debt.

Your career was finally “taking off” now talks of downsizing and closure ring in the atmosphere.

Your doctor just gave a bad report with a terrible prognosis.

Whatever your situation, it may be impossible to you, but it is not impossible to God.

“Nothing is impossible with God”

In Matthew 19:26 in response to a situation deemed not possible by his disciples, Jesus said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

“Nothing is impossible with God”

When faced with “impossible” situations, it is critical that we trust in the fact that God is good, He loves us, and He is well able to execute His will in any situation……He is God!

Seek His wisdom, repent of any exposed sin, follow His instructions to you, align your life with His Word, praise and worship Him in spite of your circumstance, thank Him in advance for working things out in a way that He knows is best for you, and rely upon His grace to make bring you through.

“Nothing is impossible with God”

Below are three music videos based on the fact that nothing is impossible with God.

Think for a moment about your “impossible” situation then listen to the words of each of them and let your faith in the mighty, loving, faithful, wise God you serve arise.

  1. I used “Jesus” as a tag because I quoted Jesus in the post (Matthew 19:26). I totally agree that we absolutely need Jesus to do anything (John 15:5), and that we are nothing without Him, but the post is not meant to focus on that, it is meant to focus on the supremacy of God to do what we deem impossible in our lives if He so chooses……hope this brings enough clarification without getting into deeper theological issues re: God being One God manifested as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit…..blessings to you always!…Kim

  2. I fully agree with you that Jesus is the son of God, but based on scripture, I also believe that He was God manifested as the Son. John 1:1 that states, “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.”…the scriptures here say that the Word, who is Jesus, was God.

    Also, in Luke 4 when satan requested Jesus to worship him, Jesus told him it is written, worship the Lord you God and Him only shall you serve, yet on several occasions, people worshipped Jesus (Matthew 14:33, 28:9,17, John 9:38) and He never stopped them also indicating that He is God…..if He were not God He would have told people not to worship Him.

    Additionally in Acts 20:28, the Scriptures state, (Paul speaking to the elders of the church) “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.” Here the Scriptures say God purchased the church with His own blood and we know that it is Jesus’ blood that was shed to purchase the church so again, Jesus is called God, not just the Son of God.

    My brother, it is a complex issue and now we see as through a glass darkly, but when we see our Lord face to face, it will all be clear to us all. Love in Christ….Kim

  3. My son is facing deportation. It looks very dark now with no positive outcome, but I am trusting God knowing that with Him All things are pissible even those that seem impossible. Thank you all for yiur encouragement.

  4. Hi Gina….my heart goes out to you as a mother….I pray that God’s will shall be done concerning your son. I am grateful to God that my post has encouraged you…..keep standing and believing and know that God works all things together for good for those who love Him who are the called according to His purpose. God bless you….Kim
