WHO ARE YOU BEHIND CLOSED DOORS?

WHO ARE YOU BEHIND CLOSED DOORS?

WHO ARE YOU BEHIND CLOSED DOORS?

WHO ARE YOU BEHIND CLOSED DOORS?

Who are you behind closed doors?

Who are you behind closed doors

when away from the people to whom you are accountable in your life?

Who are you behind closed doors

when away from your wife?

Who are you behind closed doors

when away from your husband?

Who are you behind closed doors

when away from your family?

Who are you behind closed doors

when away from your godly friends?

Who are you behind closed doors

when away from your pastor and the leaders of your place of worship?

Who are you behind closed doors

when away from your brothers and sisters in Christ?

Who are you behind closed doors

when away from your boss?

Who are you behind closed doors

when away from the citizens of your country in a foreign land?

Who are you behind closed doors?

when absolutely no one else is around?

Who are you behind closed doors?

Is the person you are behind closed doors starkly different from the person you are in the open?

Is your “private life” at odds with your “public life”?

If so, it’s time to close the gap and make it right before the Lord.

Who are you behind closed doors?

It matters to God and should therefore matter to you.

“Am I only a God nearby,” declares the Lord, “and not a God far away?
Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” declares the Lord.
“Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord.”

(Jeremiah 23;23, 24 – NIV)

“Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from the Lord, who do their work in darkness and think,
“Who sees us? Who will know?”

(Isaiah 29:15  – NIV)

“For God will bring every deed into judgment,
    including every hidden thing,
whether it is good or evil.”

(Ecclesiastes 12:14)

  1. You have such incisive questions, Kim. I see you as a sort of blogging prophetess, giving people the straight word of God, plain and simple. God bless!

  2. Thanks David…..that is a blessing to hear especially considering that my practice is to keep my spirit open to the Lord to hear/see what He would have me write and publish whether favored by others or not. I guess that kind of boils down to as you said “giving people the straight word of God, plain and simple” and being sort of a “blogging prophetess”……:)

  3. This is truly a window into your soul Kim. I can tell what God means to you by this post. I am so humbled by the people God is allowing me to meet. I feel like Elijah, when God said to him–I yet have 7,000 who have not bowed down their knee to Baal, when Elijah was feeling so discouraged & alone in the fight for righteousness (1 Kings 19:18).

You remind me that God has sprinkled a remnant throughout the earth who love Him with utmost sincerity.

note: This post reminded me of what I wrote here back in May.

  4. Hi Marlene….you are very perceptive and discerning….:)……holiness, righteousness, complete submission to the Lord, seeking His will in every situation, glorifying Him and not bringing reproach to His Name or His Kingdom through compromise, respecting the authority of His Word, and walking in love are all matters very close to my heart, deep in my spirit, and what I desire to see progressively increase in my life and in the Body of Christ. It blesses and encourages me tremendously also whenever I come in contact with people of like spirit who love the Lord with utmost sincerity……especially those that are thousands of miles away in other countries like you. I read your post….it is timely and does have a similar message…..I hope others will click on the link you provided and read it as well. God bess you my sister!

  5. I am happy that the post was a blessing to you…….:) Thanks for stopping by “Unwalled” and deciding to follow; I am truly honored. I pray that the Lord will use my posts to encourage, edify and inspire you in 2013 and beyond……may He strengthen you as you continue your journey with Him.
