Feeling inadequate?

What if I told you what you are experiencing is a blessing in disguise.

How is that, you may ask?

Because inadequacy is an opportunity for us to lean deeply into God and experience the sufficiency of Christ, it is an opportunity for us to get to know Him as the All-Sufficient One.

It is in our weakness/inadequacy that we get to experience/know His strength.

It is in our despair/inadequacy that we get to experience/know His hope.

It is in our lack/inadequacy that we get to experience/know His provision.

It is in our turmoil/inadequacy that we get to experience/know His peace.

It is in our fear/inadequacy that we get to experience/know His boldness.

It is in our rejection/inadequacy that we get to experience/know His acceptance.

It is in our sorrow/inadequacy that we get to experience/know His comfort.

It is in our sickness/inadequacy that we get to experience/know His healing.

It is in our confusion/inadequacy that we get to experience/know His wisdom.

It is in our wavering/inadequacy that we get to experience/know His faithfulness.

So you see, depending on how you view and deal with it, the inadequacy you are experiencing can be a blessing in disguise.

SELAH!

Today I challege and urge you to embrace your experience of inadequacy and maximize it by leaning deeply into God and experiencing/getting to know the sufficiency of Christ.

Blessings to you!

Kim

  1. Great Post. When we live according to God’s will we experience His adequacy/sufficiency. When we live according to our own selfish will we experience just the opposite. You have a magnificently blessed day. Love you.
