EYES OF CRUCIFIXION AND DEATH OR RESURRECTION AND LIFE?

EYES OF CRUCIFIXION AND DEATH OR RESURRECTION AND LIFE?

DO YOU SEE YOUR SITUATION THROUGH EYES OF CRUCIFIXION AND DEATH OR RESURRECTION AND LIFE?

I can only minutely imagine how Jesus’ disciples must have felt the day after His death and burial.

Their water-walking, bread-multiplying, demon-chasing, compassionate, healing, miracle-working Savior, Lord, Master, Teacher, and Friend was dead.

After all that He said…

After all that He did…

After all that He promised…

The One who they left everything to follow, the One they put all their hope in, the One who spoke so passionately about His indestructible Kingdom was dead.

How could this happen?

How could this be?

To the natural eye, mind, and comprehension, Jesus was dead, it was over, it was finished, all was lost.

In the midst of their deepest darkness, and in the midst of their deepest despair, little did the disciples know that just around the corner, everything was about to change for the better.

Is there something in your life that God instructed you to do and that started out with great promise, hope, and excitement, but you now view as dead, not because God told you it is dead, but because from your view, there’s no movement, no growth, no progress?

Today, I challenge you to change your view.

Instead of seeing your situation through eyes of crucifixion and death, see it through eyes of resurrection and life.

Rekindle your hope and trust in God.

  • Go back to what He spoke to you in the beginning.
  • Go back to the promises He made to you in that quiet place when it was just you and Him together alone.
  • Go back and meditate on what He said He would bring to pass in your life.
  • See it done in your mind’s eye.
  • See it finished just as He said because He is a God that declares the end from the beginning so it is finished just as He said.

He never said how or when it would happen and He never said it would be quick or easy, but He did say it would happen so don’t faint now and abort the process to manifestation…you’ve come too far for that!

In the midst of their deepest darkness, and in the midst of their deepest despair, little did the disciples know that just around the corner, everything was about to change for the better.

So shake yourself!

Refocus!

Renew your hope in God!…because perhaps, just perhaps, just as it was with the disciples, it might be the same for you.

Instead of seeing your situation through eyes of crucifixion and death, I challenge you to see it through eyes of resurrection and life.

SELAH!

“And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.”

(Galatians 6:9 – AMPC)

“To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven:…”

(Ecclesiastes 3:1 – AMPC)

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day.”

 (Habakkuk 2:3 – AMPC)

Be encouraged!

Kim

  1. God knows exactly when to send words of encouragement. He knows when they are needed the most. He has also promised not to put on us more than we can bear and with every testing to make a way of escape.

Thanks again. Thanks Kim, and keep up the good work and God bless.

  2. Hi Aunt Velda…that’s our God! – oh how He loves you and me!..and that’s His promise and we can hold fast to it!..I am honored and grateful to be a vessel He works through to bring encouragement and hope to people’s lives…blessings to you too!
