“LET PRAISES RISE” – A SONG TO BLESS YOUR SOUL

“LET PRAISES RISE” – A SONG TO BLESS YOUR SOUL

A’Leithia Sweeeting’s song,  “LET PRAISES RISE” has been in my spirit continually for the past week.

It’s there in the morning when I wake up, during the day and at night as I prepare to go to sleep.

It has blessed me so much that I decided to post it today……always love to see my fellow Bahamians praising the Most High.

Hope it blesses you.

Kim

CELEBRATING BAHAMIAN PRAISE (6) – “LORD I LOVE YOU”

CELEBRATING BAHAMIAN PRAISE (6) – “LORD I LOVE YOU”

"PRAISE THE LORD EVERYONE!"

“PRAISE THE LORD EVERYONE!”

“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.”

(Psalms 150:6 – NIV, 1984)

God is a God of variety and has children all over the face of the earth from every race and culture and each of them have a unique way to sing praises to His Name.

As many of you know I am a Bahamian who resides in Nassau Bahamas and although Bahamian Christians/Believers sing praise songs birthed from the nations of the earth, we as a people also write praise songs and have a distinct way to praise the Lord.

Here’s a video of one of my favorite Bahamian praise songs that I found on YouTube and thought I’d share it; it certainly got my praise on!….smile.

Isaiah 42:10 declares, “Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise from the ends of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, you islands, and all who live in them.” (Isaiah 42:10 – NIV, 1984)

As you listen to the song “LORD I LOVE YOU”, may a praise be raised in you.

Be blessed!

Kim

“Therefore in the east give glory to the Lord;
    exalt the name of the Lord, the God of Israel,
    in the islands of the sea.”

(Isaiah 24:15)

“The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad;
    let the distant shores rejoice.”

(Psalms 97:1)
